I shared a photo on Instagram and Facebook that I had taken of my book, Looking Back and Running Forward, alongside some flowers that I had collected from my yard.
Later that day, one of my sons asked why there were “weeds in a jar on the kitchen table.”
Weeds? They weren’t weeds; they were flowers!
Granted, some of them were wildflowers that grow in random places throughout our property, but they were still beautiful flowers. Some may consider them weeds, but I don’t. It is all a matter of perspective.
My encouragement to you is to think about the weeds in your life. Are there things that seem less desirable? Try seeing them from a different angle. There is beauty in the weeds.
